Today I want to share 10 tips
for staying on your diet at a party while still having a great
time. Below is the list of tips - read the full article in the
Love Yourself – IT MATTERS! Blog.

Never go to a party hungry.
-
Take a bottle of water when
you get to the party and drink it before eating.
-
Talk to at least three people
before eating.
-
Don't sit near the food.
-
Always have a salad in your
car in case no salad is served.
-
Take only a small amount of
the different types of food with plenty of salad.
-
Have fruit for desert.
-
Never go back for seconds.
-
After you finish eating take
another bottle of water and socialize with the guests.
-
Don't stay late. As soon as
you get home, do something nice for yourself.
Next time you go to a party,
just try some of these ideas and let me know what happens.

Focusing on
Opportunities
I was having a conversation with a group of people the other day and
someone shared how he continuously thought about his problems. He
realized thinking about them constantly gave him an excuse not to take
action and feel sorry for himself. Once he realized what he was doing,
instead of focusing on his worries everyday he began to write a grateful
list instead, and his life started to change.
Hearing this, I started to think how lucky I was by focusing on the
opportunities and gifts that were being given to me each day instead of
letting my fears take control. Each day is a new beginning for me.
One of my friends pointed out that life is a smorgasbord. I can try many
different opportunities before making any major changes. This analogy
gave me strength and courage to continue trying new things.
I live by the following quote:
