Love Yourself - IT MATTERS

May / 2010

Lately, either I have been working like a busy beaver or just sitting and reading a fun novel. There definitely was no balance in my day.

My gremlin (negative thoughts) and guilt feelings were doing a number on me. Constantly, I would be hearing, "you should be working" or "take a break you are tired."

What is a person to do?

One morning not being able to stand the noise in my head, I created a daily plan. My day was divided into segments of either working, time relaxing or spending time with friends or family.

Plan

  • Monday thru Friday morning - day starts at 5:00 am, meeting my neighbor for a 45 minute walk. Work begins at 8:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm, with frequent breaks.

  • Friday afternoon through Sunday evening is personal time.

This is a pilot program and being constantly revised.

Now It Is Your Turn!

If you had a magic wand and could create a balanced daily routine what would be your favorite time saving strategies and best practices?

Please share them with the Love Yourself - It Matters! Community.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

"You mean I don’t have to build my business ALONE?"

Build a Support Team and Watch Your Business Grow!

Starting a business can be very exciting and at the same time frightening. Having always worked for someone, I always thought a business ran itself. Not taking into consideration the many different facets of managing a business.

Boy, did I have a rude awakening when I started Love Yourself Coaching. Had to learn marketing, bookkeeping, sales and the list goes on and on.

I was lucky, had great coaches and friends who lead me along the path.

Learning that I was not a Jack-Of-All-Trades was an important learning experience. Figuring out my strengths was the first step. Then teaming up with others who had complimentary abilities created a magical mix for the growth of Love Yourself Coaching.

Today there is a team of members who focuses on the growth of Love Yourself Coaching.

Working with a team and having support enables me to see things from a different perspective. I love being a business owner!

Share your experiences of building a business and together we can support each other.

P.S. Our newest member of the Love Yourself Coaching Team is Deborah Drake. You may receive a friendly email or phone call from her.

Deborah is focusing on the Coaches’ Coaching Circle and Circles of Inspiration Membership. We hope you will be able to connect with Deborah when she is reaching out to the Love Yourself - It Matters! Community.
